For their 11th hay run, the Burrumbuttock Hay Runners have chosen Ilfracombe once again as their destination.
That means just under 400 trailers of hay will be making their way through Charleville.
The hay runners will be stopping over in Wyandra on Thursday night. If you want to catch up with any of the drivers and the support crew, they’ll be arriving around 7pm.
Friday morning is when we’ll see the hay runners come through Charleville. They’re expected to leave Wyandra at 6am and be driving through Charleville between 7:15am and 8:30am.
The trucks are then meeting around 100 vehicles in Augathella, so Augie locals you also will have the opportunity to catch up with the hay runners.
The theme this hay run is ‘Australia’ again, so everybody, let’s all dress up, get into the spirit of things and support the Burrumbottock Hay Runners.
They’re doing a great job in spreading awareness of the drought and in supporting our western Queensland farmers.
Once again, you’ll catch the Hay Runnners coming through Charleville on Friday 1st April, between 7:15am and 8:30am.
