Scores of locals are expected to take part in tonight’s Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Candlelight March.
The March will begin at 6pm at the Railway Station and proceed down Wills Street,turning at the Charleville Hotel corner and then heading down Wills Street to the Town Hall.
Information and light refreshments will be made available at the Town Hall following the March.
Those taking part are asked to assemble at the railway station just ahead of 6 pm. And while The March gets underway in Charleville tonight, tomorrow it’s the Cunnamulla community that will be marching.
The Cunnamulla March will get underway tomorrow from 9am.
The Cunnamulla Community are invited to join in for the march from outside the National Australia Bank, to Bob Poncho Park via Jane and Stockyard Streets.
All those participating are invited to meet at 8.45am for a 9am march.
After marching to Bob Poncho Park, our Community Service Providers will be getting together with community information stalls and a few activities put on by Cheryl and Bev from the Far West Indigenous Family Violence Service.
