South West NRM are now seeking expressions of interest for cluster fence funding to manage wild dogs throughout the South West RED region.
Shire’s included in the grants program include Balonne, Bulloo, Maranoa, Murweh, Paroo and Quilpie and expressions of interest close on the 29th March 2016.
Clusters of rural landholders are eligible for up to $2,500 per km of high-integrity exclusion fencing materials to help combat wild dogs and other invasive pests.
The funding comes from the federal government and the Queensland state government under the Queensland Feral Pest Initiative.
