Charleville Scouts are looking for adult members.
The Group requires adults who can fill various roles within the organisation which is in keen demand from local kids across the region.
Gillian Hall, Region Development and Support Officer says the group is very active
“The group is financially in a great place thanks to Joe Tully etc but needs to build its Leadership numbers and also needs a Group Leader, who manager of the group, as well as a Chairman and others to fill Leader roles.”
“Adults do not need to have children in the group but rather have a passion for seeing children develop into people able to take a constructive place in society with excellent leadership skills and well developed social skills.”
All training is provided by the Scout Association and is paid for by the group.
Gillian says Apart from being a really rewarding experience, not to mention the short and long term good such work achieves, there’s also an option to continue in training through an RPL process to gain VET qualifications in Cert 111 in Business and Cert 1V in Leadership and Management.
There is also a Diploma option.
Anyone interested should attend the meeting next Monday Night.
