Charleville CIB, Quilpie, Eromanga and Adavale Police executed a number of search warrants in the Quilpie area over the weekend.
Four people have been charged with 10 drug offences, a quantity of methylamphetamine, cannabis a number of drug utensils, an extendable baton and a sum of cash were seized by police.
The four persons will appear in the Quilpie Magistrates Court on May 15.
And it’s been a busy week for local Police around Our Towns with the week seeing two traffic crashes in Tambo and Augathella.
The first crash occurred last Thursday at Tambo on the Landsborough Highway with the rollover of a Semi Trailer B triple carrying cattle.
The driver received injuries and was transported by QAS to Blackall Hospital. 20 head of cattle were deceased with a further 15 having to be euthanized.
The second crash at Augathella on the Landsborough Highway on Monday involved a single vehicle with two occupants entrapped.
Qld Fire and Emergency Services, Queensland Ambulance Service and police attended the scene.
Both occupants had to be airlifted to Brisbane for treatment.
Police are investigating both traffic crashes.
Charleville Police are also investigating a complaint of grievous bodily harm to a 44-year-old female, which occurred on April 20 in Coronation Street, Charleville.
In other Police news, two males and one female driver were intercepted by police between April 26 and 30, all testing proved positive for driving under the influence of a drug and further analysis is now being conducted.
