Australian Women in Agriculture (AWiA) are holding their national conference in September and are reminding women that registrations are now open.
“SECURING AUSTRALIAN AGRICULTURE – Sustaining families, farming and our future” is the theme for this year’s Conference which will be held in Brisbane, at Oakwood Apartments & Hotel from the 22 – 24 September 2017.
Organizers say there’s a strong focus on the diversity of skills of and contributions made by women to Agriculture across the various sectors, particularly those that demonstrate diversity, sustainability and entrepreneurship.
Local, national and international speakers will feature on the program designed to encourage dialogue and information exchange between delegates to, “encourage dynamic thinking and offer opportunities to network with other women leading Australian agribusiness.”
The Conference is an event open to all women from rural, regional and remote Australia.
Registrations are now officially open and can be completed via the AWiA website http://awia.org.au/2017-registration/.
