Agriculture lobby group, Agforce, says it believes that the state election result whilst confused will bode well for Agriculture in the future. Agforce
has voiced its many concerns throughout the Queensland state election regarding the lack of representation of the state’s Agriculture industry.
Leading up to the election Agforce repeatedly asked both major parties not to forget the importance of the industry and the policies required for its effectiveness.
Agforce state councillor, Matt Bennetto, says the industry has been overlooked.
Likewise, Katter Australia Party member, Shane Knuth says he will be a strong voice for rural and regional Queensland and the agriculture sector.
